Lemon and Herb Winter Veggies

Ingredients:
- 3 cups each of broccoli and cauli flower *
- 1 cup of water
- 1/4 vegan butter
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1.5 tsp thyme
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 tsps onion powder *or 3tbsp diced chives*
Instructions:
- Place broccoli and cauliflower in a pot with 1 cup of water and cover – just enough water to steam the veggies and not leach too much nutrients during cooking
- Cook for about 5-10 minutes or until desired softness
- Prepare butter, lemon and herb combination
- Drain remaining water in veggies once cooked and combine seasoning
- Mix well, and serve
