Crispy Mac N’ Cheese
- 5 cups Water
- 2 cups Macaroni
- 3 jumbo hotdogs
- 1/2 cup Panko jampese style bread crumbs
- 1 cup frozen Corn
- 1 spinach cube
- 1/2 tbsp basil
- 2 cloves diced garlic
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1/2 tbsp chilli powder
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 cup daiya dairy free mozzarella or cheddar style cheese
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
In a large frying pan on medium heat, mix water, macaroni, corn, basil, garlic, onion powder, chilli powder, salt and spinach cube.
Cut up hotdogs into half-moon slices and mix into the pan.
Boil until pasta is almost cooked.
In a small dish, mix cornstarch with 2 tbsp cold water, pour into pan and continue stirring until remaining seasoned water thickens.
Add bread crumbs, turn up to medium high heat until pasta combination begins to turn golden brown and crispy.
Mix in daiya cheese, stirring quickly to disperse all if it and not let it burn to the pan.
Remove from heat and serve immediately.
