Zingy Cucumbers


Healthy, hydrating, and addicting. Make cucumbers your new favourite snack with this extra refreshing yet addicting cucumber brine perfect for the season and this stuck at home phase of our life (covid-19 2020)

This easy, refreshing snack isn’t exactly new to anyone – it’s been around for a long time with various different ways to make it; and if you think those fancy water bottles full of cut up fresh fruit look nice and exhilarating, then you should definetly try this fantastic way to do up some cucumbers.

Not to mention, as well as being low cal, vegan and gluten free, some additional health benefits to this vitamin packed veggie:

• Blood sugar control
• Weight management
• Reduced cholesterol
• Antimicrobial
• Ph balance

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 sliced cucumber

In a bowl combine all the ingredients, adding the sliced cucumbers last. Cover and refrigerate for 1 to 12 hours. The longer they sit in the brine, the more flavour will be produced.
